Thank you.  Glenn Danzig's Verotik Publishing went with a similar rendition (dated "93") for Illustrations Arcanum.  I acquired this earlier version directly from Glenn.

Wow, Steve...!  If I may be so bold, I have to say that I love his "late" Illustrations Arcanum work just as much (at least) as his "early" pen and ink work.  While the latter is youthful exuberance and an outpouring of supernova-level talent, the former is confidence and mastery of technique (and, yes, an outpouring of supernova-level talent).  For Frank (and all of us) it seemed like a "re-introduction" at the time (as he had been sick and not releasing much work) and when I first found the Illustrations Arcanum book (in a little comic shop in San Francisco) I was absolutely stunned by (and SO grateful for) his return.  What a beautiful piece!  It's ALL here, set among an unmistakable Frazetta landscape; the awesome linework and "smudge" texture of the werewolf, the flowing, dreamlike locks of hair of the Frazetta Beauty, even a Frazetta moon (more of that pencil smudge to give texture and depth) replete with Frazetta bats.  Absolutely magnificent, Steve!  Congrats!

Well put as ever, Jason.  Though I always try to respect evolution in style of artists (whether in comic art or in music, e.g. Radiohead), there's oftentimes a part of me that just misses the old stuff, or in some cases flat out prefers it.  Not so with Frazetta.  I've found every era of his to be a treat, reflecting continued mastery and growth without radical departures.  If if ain't broke...

Also, we're in luck -- the bloodline lives on!  From Sara Frazetta's CAF.
