I like the way she went from "Tramp" to "deadly lover" by merely adding a very small amount of additional paint!

Restoring it might be possible. It depends on whether the paint on top is different than the original layer. Its a bit risky. I do now of one artist who worked in acrylic and when asked to put extra clothing on his nude, did dso with watercolour so he could just remove that layer with water. Best ask a qualified picture restorer. Risky.

Beautiful painting! She's the same model/girl as on Ray's cover for Signet Paperback 742, "Kill or Cure" by William Francis! And the guy in the foreground of that Signet 742 cover is the same as the guy in the foreground of Doug Ellis' prize painting, Avon 315, The Metal Monster by A. Merritt. The Ray Johnson puzzle pieces are starting to piece together!
