It's April, but that doesn't mean March is done.  This gripping cover powers on with chains that keep our attention on this Bat bondage cover! It has a layout that Neal Adams could be proud of with this much attention to perspective and dimensionality.  It is done for dramatic effect as the menace of the Joker and the peril of our hero poses the question of, "How will Batman get out of this death trap?"

I see a bit of Romita Jr and Andy Kubert influence on this piece, yet it's still unmistakably Guillem March. I really love the camera placement, as we're down low and so close to Batman while simultaneously also raising the drama as we look up sharply at the Joker as he looms above the scene. Another great work of art added to the world's premiere Joker collection!

Frightening cover from Guillem March. Hard to imagine how the Dark Knight is going to escape this trap. But I'm sure he will.
