Nice choice of subject matter for Paul to approach.  It is a grittier approach to the character but perhaps not as dark as others have taken him.  I'd love to see Paul work on a DD graphic novel.  What are the dimensions of the piece?

Thanks! Most would get a Batman (I still want to get a Batman) but I wanted to see what he would do with Daredevil, and a DD graphic novel would be great! I went with 11x17 but he works on 19x24 art board.

Inspired Pope commission subject, Victor, and Paul pulls it off with his usual panache and downright awesomeness.  I love all the rich character touches Paul imbues to DD here, notably the head-to-toe shout outs to his boxing "pedigree"; shirt, gloves, and especially those beautiful, beautiful boots.  Everything "works" in a Paul Pope piece - all form has a function - and I love the detail he has invested into Matt's billy club sheath; the snaps and buttons to hold it in place, etc.  Fantastic piece, Victor!  Congrats!

So cool! Paul Pope draws Daredevil in the style of Batman:Year 100!!! I love Paul Pope's work and I love Daredevil and you brought them both together--That's utterly amazing! Sincere congrats!
