Description

"The Legacy of Man" is a story that my older brother wrote in 1986 on two pieces of copy paper when he was in high school. My brother passed away in 2013. I've kept this and other stories that I felt one day deserved a more professional presentation. We were both big fans of the Twilight Zone and that was one of the influences. I kept that mind along with old EC comics, like Weird Science, illustrated by Wallace Wood. I also looked at Roger Corman's Edgar Allan Poe films as well as the publication "Castle of Frankenstein" for inspiration. Finally, I wanted a Horror Hostess to introduce the story, but since so many female hostesses are "vampire-like," I decided to base mine on the Bride of Frankenstein. So, this is "The Legacy of Man" with a tip of the hat to my brother, Jeff Russo, as well as Rod Serling, Willaim Gaines, Wallace Wood, Roger Corman, Edgar Allan Poe, and "Castle of Frankenstein" magazine.
