Description

(Ink on clay scratchboard - 16" x 24")
Incredibly detailed piece Nicolas created for a poster, but ultimately wasn't used, and went for a different design. It's a huge piece, and so easy to get lots in all the flowing scratchboard lines.
The spiders and webbing are insane, and are a more traditional ink approach to rendering.
Scan could be better, but I has to take a photo because the clayboard is too rigid for the scanner.

That's a beautiful piece - and yes, definitely large for a Delort. He tends to work small due to all the detail he scratches into that clayboard.
