Description

Bill S is one of the all time greats.. one of the most recognizable styles in the history of comic art... for me growing up the most memorable thing from him was his run on New Mutants.. those issues are some of the best of the entire run of the Junior X-men team... Demon Bear.. Legion.. introducing Warlock etc.. so much goodness!! And one unique aspect of that time was Magneto was the headmaster of the team, while Prof X went off into space .."Michael Xavier" as he went bye was a polarizing figure for the kids, because up until that point he was the biggest villain in the X-Universe! SO when I saw this beauty available I had to pounce!! And as the image shows.. Do not pick a fight with the master of magnetism in a home depot!! lol

I was always hit or miss with Bill's work but I love this piece. Magneto gets to the nuts and bolts of the situation. in a very detailed drawing.

Very cool illustration of Magneto on the attack. Who is he attacking? Could be anyone as I think he's fought practically everyone at this point, whether they're hero or villain. It's what keeps the character interesting.

I don't need an instruction manual! I'm Magneto, dammit! Sienkiewicz can take the simplest of concepts and make something special. He's a capital A artist. Love the look on his face, and that spatter technique inside his cape. Super cool commission. Congrats!

That's right. When he's not busy fighting the X-Men, he will gladly help you assemble your IKEA furniture. For a modest fee, of course.

Seriously though, just a killer Sienkiewicz piece!

Beautiful pick up. Agree love Magneto in the new mutants run. My favorite was the issue he battled Sebastian Shaw literally the entire issue
