X-tinction Agenda may be the last great mutant crossover event from my youth.. and if someone mentions the crossover , this panel , wolverine vs archangel, from Uncanny X-men 272 is the first image that pops into my mind. If you recall this event brought the fractured xteams together , Logan and Warren never really liked each other � but now as Archangel he had a shot to do something about it!

Well when I heard the Uber talented Eranga Devasurendra was recreating panels from the event for inktober - I was hopeful this would be one. As he was showing them off it didn�t turn up. Then he announced someone bought the whole lot of pieces! I was sure I was SOL� but being the good guy he is and not wanting to disappoint his fans , he wound up doing 3 additional pieces and this was one! Quick fingers and it is mine now!

Killer homage! I too LOVE X-Tinction Agenda. Right there with Inferno as far as X stories from my kiddom. And yup, this image is one of those seared into my brain. For me, it's a page with Wolvie and Psylocke fighting Hodge - there are so many. Congrats! I think Eranga liked drawing this :)
