“Soooo… let me start this off by saying Eranga Devasurendra (that’s his name not sure when he went Eranga D!) is not only an incredible artist but a very good friend of mine. So when I heard he was doing a variant cover for the 25th anniversary of Frank Millers 300 I was so excited for him! First thing I said was I can not wait to get a copy and of course I need an Eranga D Remarque! So my humble friend told me what remarques he was doing … and me being the PIA that I am was like NO I need a Xerxes! And Eranga was like NO he is a PIA to draw! So it was a stalemate! Luckily his rep had the same idea and we all compromised on a super limited run of xerxes Remarques.. so here is number 2 of only 20 he would do!! Thanks my friend ! Keep doing what you are doing!”

Story on the second! I was attending a show E was at and had to be my normal PIA self and come up with something unique for him to do. If you’ve watched the movie 300 you no doubt the rhinos xerxes unleashes on the Spartans! Well my second Remarque was a war rhino!! Thanks E!
