Description

It was great to see artist Geraldo Borges at New York Comic Con again this year. One of Borges' upcoming projects is the reboot of Thunderbolts which features a team of led by Bucky Barnes aka the Winter Soldier. The first issue is out in December. I asked Borges to sketch the Winter Soldier for me, since he was a member of the Avengers when Steve Rogers was believed dead, and Bucky had assumed the identity of Captain America. I'm really happy with how this came out.

Borges does a great job getting across the greasy hair look. Bucky definitely would have been just as cocky as an adult if he'd never sacrificed himself on that fateful day.

Agreed. Borges really seems to get the character of the Winter Soldier. I'm sure he's going to do great artwork for the upcoming Thunderbolts series that willl have Bucky leading the team.
