DescriptionSyd Mead original artwork "The Party" for US Steel Portfolio. (ca. 1960s) Vintage original futuristic painting accomplished in gouache on 30 x 20 in. artists' board. Depicting a future where people travel by sky pods. Created for a U.S. Steel portfolio project during the time Syd Mead worked for Hansen and Company in Chicago. This was one of many images for the project of which many of ht paintings were printed as posters.Social/Sharing |
