DescriptionI apologize for the reflections in this pic, but I've had this piece professionally framed for some time! I got this from Mr. Romita back in 2000. I had no idea he was going to be there, and I don't think it was even formally announced at the time. He was in the back corner of the con, doing sketches, and boy did he have a line! I ended up being the last one allowed in line, on the last day of the con. Everyone ahead of me was asking for either Spidey or Wolverine head sketches. He was doing quick front views of them and banging them out as fast as he could to get as many people through the line as possible, it was amazing to watch. When he came to me, I blurted out one of my personal favorites "Captain America". His eyes lit up, and he took a little extra time and drew this for me, an awesome 3/4 view of ol Cap himself!!Social/Sharing |
