Description

This is the Psylocke commission that Joëlle Jones made for me at GalaxyCon Richmond 2024. She told me that despite being a big X-Men fan herself she didn't think she had drawn Psylocke before. I love how she doesn't really show the psychic knife in the image but you see its pink glow backlighting Psylocke. Getting a commission from Joëlle was my main reason for attending GalaxyCon Richmond 2024 and I think it was definitely worth it!

She told me she thought it was when she asked what character I wanted. I posted this piece on my Instagram and someone commented there that she had done a Psylocke remark for him in 2016 but it wasn't a full commission piece like this... so I guess it depends on how you look at it.

The colors! The subtle hits of reds, pink, and grey shading all work to angle and shape her face in a fashion model look.
