Description

a beautiful opening to a story of murder, lust and ... surfing! ... from the mid-1970s horror anthology "Ghosts." i loved DC's horror titles as i was growing up. i found this at the 1997 San Diego Comic-Con among stacks of art that one dealer was selling. the dealer had tons of panel pages from many of those books, but this was the nicest one i saw. this is truly an example of how much nicer a page of original comic art can be when the words are present. i can't imagine this page without the text. and the hand-designed title adds a real organic touch.
