Description

Jim Aparo Comic Reader #130 Cover Batman and Fiends Original Art (Street Enterprises, 1976). A mob of Batman's mad-cap miscreants... the Joker, the Penguin, Two-Face, and more! We think we even see Killer Moth waaaaay back there! The Comic Reader was the best way to get news about comics before they were released (before the Internet, kiddos). A Bat-tastic cover by the great Jim Aparo created in ink and Zipatone over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 5.5" x 8.25". Signed "JA" in the image area. The logo, date, and issue number are paste-ups. There are two more paste-ups missing in the upper corners of the image area. Overall in Excellent condition.

Very cool "Batman and his Rogues gallery" cover, especially since it's from Aparo's mid-70's period.
