Description

Romano Scarpa made this drawing for the cover of a volume of the " Hall of Fame "series dedicated to him in 2004.

Thanks to my dear friend Soren for giving me the opportunity to have this "Treasure" in my collection. The cover refers to my absolute favourite Scarpa story: "Paperino e le lenticchie di Babilonia".

Strong definitive image of Scrooge. It has the purity of emotional joy and elation which is infectious to the readership.

Beautiful cover that was tough for me to part with. But I am so happy that we were able to make a trade and that the cover art ended up in your wonderful collection. Congrats Antonio.
