DescriptionGILT - J.A.W. Cooper Solo Exhibition05/15/2021 - 05/29/2021, Gallery Nucleus Acrylic / screenprinting ink / colored pencil / gold foil / cut paper / hard enamel pin I'm unsure of when I first saw Cooper's work but was immediately attracted. When I found out she aS doing a solo exhibition at gallery nucleus, I made sure to sign up for the preview. She displayed a mix of her beautifully delicate pencil work, paintings, as well as one on one versions of her limited prints that were finished with original art embellishment for the show. I managed to pick up this beauty which was previously released as a print. For this piece she took a print and added more details using acrylic paint and colored pencil as well as signing the finished piece. Custom framing and pin by Cooper included for presentation. The image is hauntingly beautiful incorporating a lot of natural imagery as much of her work does along with a beautiful central female figure. Hope to add more work from Cooper in the future. I've added some additional images from her IG as it is quite difficult to get good images of this piece in the frame. Social/Sharing |

Really cool figural work on both the woman and the horse. And the colors really pop nicely! Huge congrats!

Congrats Jason! I love the layering and textures on this in particular, but it’s all pretty great.

When I first saw Jaw Cooper's work I thought I stumbled upon some unseen James Jean art -but was delighted to find a new artist instead. Just a brilliant example and the gold trimmings really help make this one klimt-esque. Love it!
