Fabulous! Love the mix of high contrast and subtlety. The 3-D form really reads despite all the lost visual information in the shadows. Lovecraft's creatures are equal parts horror, mystery, and romance for me, and this really captures it

What you see through the shadows is enough. The textures, the shapes that retreat back into darkness, and just the hint of the eyes are masterfully done. Seeing anymore will result in madness.
