Splash #2 from the story published in "Amazing adventures" #5 on october 1961 (inks by Dick AYERS, script by Stan LEE).

Similar to the cover of "Fantastic Four" # 1 published on november the same year !

This story has been reprinted many times and Peter POPLASKI has included Monsteroso in his tribute to the Jack KIRBY monsters.

Kirby was a virtuoso creating Monsteroso! The designs of these monster era creatures still bring fascination to audiences.

Classic, perfect example of Kirby's monster work--both in terms of Kirby's earth-shaking art and Stan's dialogue. Even the name Monsteroso is so great! Very jealous congratulations...

Run! RUN!! Kirby monsters were the best. He was so imaginative, and would give them these awesomely schlocky names. Bringing him up in the zoo, so you could highlight his monstrous size next to the elephant enclosure is brilliant. King Kirby strikes again! Big congrats!
