Description

One of two penciled preliminary pieces for Nguyen's gorgeous variant cover to issue 1 of the fourth Scarlet Witch series released in 2024. I believe this is the first prelim. The final more finished prelim (also included here in the additional images) was presumably scanned, enlarged and painted over on watercolor paper to produce the final published version (which I sadly missed out on when it was initially offered). Both prelims were purchased directly from the artist.

I like this one more having the eye completely blocked out to add a bit more mystery in her intent! The solar system she's playing with shows her power is beyond our mortal comprehension.

I love these two sketches! Tran is an extraordinary talent, and I pray she continues to do more covers for Marvel (and DC)!
