Description

I bought this over twenty years ago. It was one of four Preacher pages I purchased. I recall seeing an ad in a comic about original art noting availability of Preacher art. The comic was still in production at the time. I called and found the range of issues with art available. Flipped through my comics to see what I might want and found several pages I liked. I was lucky enough to get four. The draw to this page was that last panel. Jesse has just returned from France after abandoning Tulip. He has no idea what to expect then there she is legs wrapped around him, kissing him hard and welcoming him back. The fact that a few panels later he'd be handcuffed to a bed is imaterial. The kiss says everything you need to know about their relationship and you know it's going to be alright. I had to have it and now I do. This was also the last time I purchased original art for seventeen years.
