Right in the mid 50's, this movie was being made as an atomic age monster feature! A very successful one and long remembered as one of the best of the genre. This is a great document of film history.

Your timing is perfect to post this, seeing as The Incredible Shrinking Man has just come out this month as a gorgeous Blu-ray release as part of The Criterion Collection. With a script by Richard Matheson and direction by the great Jack Arnold, this was absulutely one of the best genre films of the '50s, and well-deserving of the excellent Criterion treatment. What an amazing find you're holding!
