Description

Tula Lotay was the perfect artist for the old Hollywood setting of Barnstormers. She has such a unique ability to capture the look and feel of the era, especially in her characters. Although she initially works traditionally, Lotay uses digital to complete her work. It's always fascinating to compare the originals to the final pages and to see the techniques she uses on the original pages to achieve her unique style. Thanks to the Cadence Comic Art team!

Lotay puts this romantic haze over the image and makes it this portrait of love universal across time and space.

The blue wash gives this a distinctively unique look. The couple does exude the feeling of love. One of the best pages. Congrats.

A serene scene rendered beautifully in the Lotay style. Love the way the greys mix with blues. Very nice, indeed. Congrats!
