Count how many Spiders on this and see if they match the number on Todd's cover to see how complete an homage this is!

Fantastic homage to Todd McFarlane's Spider-Man #1 by Gerardo Sandoval! Sandoval does an amazing job of capturing all the gross changes happening to Spider-Man as he turns into a more spider-like form! Sandoval added Tarantula-like hair bursting out of Spidey's costume, horrifible fangs breaking out from his mask, even his fingers have grown sharp claws! Frighteningly awesome cover!
