Absolutely stunning illustration of a Viking landing on a mysterious shore by the amazing Jason Crager! I'm fascinated by this intricate drawing of a Viking who has climbed out of his boat onto a strange and somewhat frightening landscape. Jason has poured an incredible amount of detail into this work. The intricate detailing of the Viking's helmet and armor is amazing. Even his Longboat, with its fierce looking dragon-headed prow is carefully and intricately drawn. The cliffs behind the Viking are filled with trees that seem to be turning into angry faces. The whole illustration is filled with so much detail that I notice more every time I look at the art. Fantastic pick-up, congrats!
