Description

I was vaguely familiar with Max's work before this year. Then I read Jeff Lemire's Doctor Star and the Kingdom of Lost Tomorrows and was blown away by Max's talent and storytelling. So I decided then and there to ask him to kick off my Cap commission theme. I left the choice of scene up to him and this was the spectacular result.

Given Fiumara's work on Abe Sapien (who was also a science experiment found in a tube) this image seems appropriate.
