Each panel is always so carefully constructed. He composed each panel so beautifully, imbued with so much three dimensionality and depth. The first panel alone is so fabulous. The heavy oak desk in the foreground is so solid, you can tell it has a lot of weight to it. The guys sitting on it is posed so naturally, likewise for Pete in the middle ground. But then Starr insisted on drawing in the buildings in the background outside the window, when he could just as easily have scribbled down 3 diagonal, parallel lines to indicate a window reflection. Sublime!

The fine touches on this are amazing. The American flag on the stand, the setting outside, the way they talk and gesture with their hands, plus the switch to the last panel with the un-americans (pointing back at why they showed the flag in the first panel).
