DescriptionWhen I commissioned Nick for this piece, I knew he would not disappoint. That Batman is "absolutely" massive! great choice for Nick, implementing some visual cues from his own Gotham in the background and paying tribute to DKR and these iconic characters.

DKR modeled in the Absolute Batman style! The exaggeration of anatomy makes Batman look like a kaiju behemoth!

Dragotta stuns with this one and perfectly captures the proportion of Absolute Batman. His use of screentone and clean line style really makes for a cover quality piece. Huge congrats!

Dragotta's exaggerated anatomy is a perfect match for DKR Batman, and he doesn't disappoint here. Love the use of screentones here as well. Congrats!

Holy Moly, Batman! What a marvelous mash-up of Dark Knight Returns with Absolute Batman by the incredible Nick Dragotta. This Dark Knight is massive just like Absolute Batman (Although he has the DKR logo on his costume) and the Background cityscape is right off one of the Absolute Batman covers. Then there's Carrie from DKR with her deadly slingshot. Like I said, it's a delightful mashup of the two books by the artist who made Absolute Batman the rockin' success it is. Congratulations on a fabulous pick-up!

Outstanding! Love how big Bats is vs Robin...and SO much zipatone, baby. Can't have enough IMO. Worthy add to the DKR collection, Joe, congrats!
