In 1986, George Perez and Len Wein were tasked with rebooting Wonder Woman and helped re-defined her appearance, abilities and relationships for a new era…and later inspired the 2017 movie starring Gal Gadot! Director Patty Jenkins praised Perez – along with Sharon Carter – and both received special thanks in the film’s credits.This incredibly detailed, movie-poster quality cover is a tribute to George Perez and his game-changing talents. Dino, what a great representation of Perez in top form. I've gotten quite nostalgic for Perez's WW and Titans since his announcement earlier this week, went to Great Escape today to pick up some trades to help cure the melancholy.

I wish I didn't have such bittersweet emotions about this posting. I wish I could just smile and not think about what's coming. I miss him already. Sorry Dino, don't mean to dampen your spirits about this exquisite piece.

George's ability to create esthetically pleasing designs for covers, splashes and, hell, panels, with multitudinous characters is legendary. Cheers for having such a fine example of his work in your collection.

It's wonderful because it's Perez inking himself. This shows his full vision with his recognizable style to a high degree. The way he tackles each character from Wonder Woman down to the unknown has the same energy and effort throughout. An absolute professional and legend.

A massive talent, and a classy man. This is a gorgeous cover, as he does. What a sad story we all learned, but hopefully some people fan find courage for themselves in his choice.
