Description

Finally managed to combine two of my favorite things... comic art and Star Wars. Not to mention the addition of one of my favorite artists to my collection. I've been a big fan of John's work since he and Whedon turned in their legendary run of Astonishing X-Men. In Marvel's first Star Wars comic since Disney took over the property, Jason Aaron and John Cassaday get to fill in the gap between A New Hope and Empire Strikes back. They get to answer a small yet pivotal question that has lingered in the minds of many Star Wars fans for decades. And to me it is just too cool that Boba Fett gets to play a part in that story. Here Boba Fett introduces himself to Luke Skywalker. If it wasn't already obvious, I am excited beyond words to own original art from my favorite franchise and one of my favorite artists. Big shout out to Mr. Moy for the sale.

I'd say this checks off all the criteria for owning a piece of comic art: iconic characters, great flow and done by a modern master. Brilliant page!

You got yourself a great page. I absolutely love the first panel with Luke and the last one with Boba Fett. Congrats!
