Description

You just never know what you are going to find at the Windy City Pulp and Paper Convention! While there I found this spectacular Bill Ward Telephone Girl illustration. As I understand it, these were done in the late 1950's and 1960's for the men's magazines of the era. This is very large at 16.5 X 22 inches and beautifully rendered in mixed media on paper. The Bill Ward Telephone Girl illustrations tend to be among the most sought after and desirable art that he produced, and he produced a lot of art. And I think that this is a great example!
