DescriptionI love this artist from Argentina, Gerardo Zaffino. Scratchy inks, generous use of blacks, and overall interesting compositions have made me a big fan of his work. Only problem is that quite a lot of other folks were way smarter and quicker in recognizing his talent than I am.Doing some Caf searches, I learn that Cam Jarvis over at www.inkyknuckles.com represents Gerardo. I wanted a Conan cover like what Ryan Sherwood has in his caf or CJ's Conan cover. Unfortunately, none was available. How about the Cosmic Ghost Rider covers? Sorry the one you want is also not available. What about a commission like some of the ones I see on Caf? Sorry, Gerardo doesn't have time to take one on. Cam was trying, but couldn't help. Then out of the blue, Cam said that Gerardo did have a piece for me. Turns out it was this Batman drawing and I jumped at it. I really appreciate Cam's patience and great service with me after so many failed inquiries. I highly recommend Cam!!!! Great guy, and of course, thank you Ryan Sherwood for the assist here!!!! Oh Joe, we all pay homage to the benevolent patron Saint of OA Collectors. The least I could do is put a little hustle in for you to return a lot of generosity ive received! And holy crap is Gerardo gonna short a circuit when he learns what his piece is being dropped around in this superlative-black hole of a gallery!
This is great, and Zaffino's own personal favourite could not have a better home!

A magical Batman piece. Unique composition and excellent execution by Zaffino. Congrats on a great piece. CJ and Ryan are good guys pho sure.

Now this is how you make a Batman piece stand out from the crowd. Batman, Gotham and actual bats in a great holistic composition. Congrats...and thumbs up to Cam and Ryan too!

Wow! Zaffino strikes again. The composition of this piece is simply magnificent. As a fellow fan of Zaffino (and Cam), congrats on adding such a great piece to your collection. I would apologize for nabbing nearly all the Zaffino Cosmic Ghost Rider pieces, but it looks like you've snagged a masterpiece.

Oh wow, another incredible example! Sounds like RS88, and CJ have gotten us all fawning over Zaff's work.

That really does rock, all the way around. Love the city throughout the lower central figure and the bats at the top an are awesome add/design choice - they really do round out an exquitie piece. Congrats!
