Description

This is the 60th Anniversary X-men Variant Cover for X-men 27 by Paolo Rivera. It's obviously an homage to Jim Lee and Scott Williams X-men number 1 cover. The book that Paolo claims inspired him to get into comic books. Joe Rovera hand inked Paolo's digital pencils and then Paolo finished it with arylic and watercolors on a massive 13x19 board. I very fortunate to add this piece to my collection, thank you Mark for making that happen.

I love the colors! It's an homage, but it packs all the characters together on one page vs. four and it still maintains the spirit of Lee's design. That's awesome!
