DescriptionToday I share with you the Grail piece of my collection. I look at it as the absolute perfect Spider-Man piece, it has my three essentials, Spider-Man, Mary Jane and the City. Paolo has long been one of my all time favorite artists, the man truly is a modern master and his depiction of Spider-Man is particularly exceptional. He hits both classic and contemporary notes in such perfect balance making his Spider-Man one of the all time best. Honestly I think this is the best Spider-Man page he's ever done, as a matter of fact, its probably one of his best illustrated works period. Paolo did everything on this one himself both pencils and inks. Also want to give a big shout out to one of the best collectors ever Mr. Alex Gonzalez to whom I will forever be grateful. He allowed a kid just starting out in the collecting game the opportunity to own his dream piece. Only the best collectors out there do that for others in the community and so Alex you'll always have my gratitude for that. 11x17 Social/Sharing |

Great page from the One Moment it Time run. And the cityscape composition with the Queensboro bridge is perfect. Congrats.

Your excitement is evident in your description and it's not hard to see why. Great splash shot up top with gorgeuos background rendering, following by some nice storytelling panels. Sweet all around. Congrats on your grail!

I've been studying the late Ross Andru's background work for the last year. He put the Queensboro bridge in Amazing Spider-man quite a few times. Here Paolo knocks it out of the park. The bridge, the stack, the tall building with the terraces, all perfectly recreated. His Spider-man is pretty nice too. Thanks for sharing.

A breathtaking page! That top panel with Spidey and MJ swinging through this elaborately detailed cityscape is jawdropping.
