Description

Largish (22 x 28) painting by one of the greats of astronomical art. Sorry about the glare at right.

Some years back, I purchased eight or so early Don Dixon paintings from a guy on eBay. They were fresh from an attic and dust-caked, and most weren�t signed. I contacted Dixon and told him about them, as I was hoping to get one signed.

He not only signed the unsigned ones, he cleaned them all and did a little touch-up. No charge, just postage.

HERO.

I kept my favorite and sold the others; this one grabbed me right away, even through the cobwebs.

Really love this one, Bruce. It looks like a photograph. The glow on the ice is so surreal! Great story about Don signing them. I had the same situation with art from Ron Miller. Both fantastic artists and icons of space art!
