Description

This was kind of an impulse buy. I met Mike Vosburg at a small con, and he had this painting on his table. Barbarella with Mike’s signature cat. The painting is small and he was selling it (relatively) cheaply, and so I bought it. I can’t say I’m a super fan of Barbarella, but I did like the movie, which I’d watched for the first time just a few weeks before meeting Mike. It was serendipity.

Even without the name attached, this is a wonderful spacegirl work. The sex symbol space fantasy is delightfully captured by Vosburg's artistic eye with smooth skin tones, far out fashion, a soft furry puss requiring some petting in this lonely out of this world setting.
