Description

My favorite series from 2021 was "The Many Deaths of Laila Starr" by Ram V and Filipe Andrade, a comedic and bittersweet tale of how the Hindu goddess of Death loses her job in an act of corporate downsizing, is reincarnated to live out the rest of her days as a human, and sets out on a quest to get her job back.

Andrade's art on the series is gorgeous, fitting the tone of the story perfectly, but alas, none of his interiors or covers have been made available for sale to my knowledge. Fortunately, a number of variant covers were created for the series by various guest artists, including this one to issue 3 by Dani, whose work I'm also quite fond of. Not a bad consolation prize.

Excellent pick up. I was shocked to see this for sale on the website and passed hoping for a shot at a page. I don't think that's gonna happen anytime soon, lol. Congrats on owning part of an incredible story!
