Victorian Era Francine and Katchoo

For Terry’s “Covers” Kickstarter, I (once again) backed the campaign at the tier that enabled backers to attain a rare commission from Terry. When Terry reached out to get my ideas for the commission, I pitched the idea for Francine and Katchoo to be in the Victorian Era. The history buff that I am liked the idea of seeing Katchoo and Francine in a historical setting; similar to my previous commission featuring them in the Renaissance.

Terry sent me a prelim of how he envisioned the piece, along with a great backstory that he came up with, while working on this commission idea:


"The famous composer Katina Choovanski has traveled by coach in a storm to visit Francine, the wife of an important man in Austria, to play her latest romantic composition that is a secret love note to the lady Francine. The husband is away. Things are almost guaranteed to get wild tonight."

Another wonderful commission from Terry. I'm very happy with how he took my idea and expanded upon it to create this piece.
