DescriptionThe master of Magnetism by the modern master Jim Lee. Jim is my top 2 artist of all time along with John Byrne. Could not pass up getting a personal commission from him of my favorite villian. His Uncanny Xmen and Xmen work in the 80s and 90s is what captivated me into comics as a kid. Meeting the living legend was a priceless experience. Despite Jim's iconic stature, he is easily one of the nicest, down to earth artists I have met. Thanks again Jim, John and to Albert for arranging this.Social/Sharing |

Excellent choice in subject. Jim Lee's is my favorite renditon of Magneto and Jim killed it with this one. And yes, you can't meet a more modest guy in the industry!

Aside from an artistic masterpiece, the background story about getting to meet and have coffee with your childhood favorite artist will only add to the visual satisfaction you get every day when you gaze upon this piece. Enjoy for many years to come. We tend to put a price on art but sometimes the journey and experience is what makes it priceless.

Thank you. The wallet will recover, but the beautiful art and the whole experience of meeting the artist sparked my passion for comics over 20 years ago is something that will stay with me.

Fantastic piece. It is good to see Jim's style starting to evolve into something a bit grittier. Hopefully we'll see more of this side of Jim's art in published books.

Thanks. Your Lee commission of the Silvestri Wolverine crucified is also a beauty. I am sure you can attest these pictures we upload do not do justice to the fine details you see in person crafted perfectly by Jim.

Not long ago I also added a grail Lee Namor piece and I couldn’t agree more on experience and lead up to getting the art plus meeting Jim was worth more than the art itself. This Magneto is a grail. So good on so many levels . It’s a classic image that will only get better with age. Congrats!

Even if I know this commission very well, i forgot to comment it. One of the best Magneto artwork ever.
If there's something i still miss in my collection from the master Jim, it's a Magneto artwork.
This one is one the best best ever seen and deserves to be a cover in the the future. It's simply stunning.
