Description

"It's NIMROD"
Bishop's voice has been ingrained into my memory since the Xmen TAS episode when Nimrod attacks him and Wolverine as Forge attempts to send him back in the past.

My first comic exposure to him was reading Xmen 194, when he disintegrates a metal beam, terrifying Juggernaut, and it took Rogue absorbing multiple powers to battle him.

I've been looking for a NIMROD piece to add to the villians gallery.
Fast forward to 2023. I've really enjoyed playing MARVEL SNAP, and NIMROD was just released for this season for the Days of the Future Past event.
This one's for the OA OG collector Larry Tun who's favorite Xvillian is this killing machine.

It's Nimrod! And his debut on the X-Men animated show did more for the character than the comic for me. Maybe it just works when you see him in action than just being stiff in the static comic form back then. Mello does a great job updating the look with an action pose here.

Great pick up, JN! My son is just getting into this game and regularly tells me how much fun it is (and how much I'd like it :) ); fantastic that you scored some art for it! And it's a beautiful piece, too, showing the killer bot in all his massive powerful glory. Super piece, JN! Congrats!
