DescriptionWow bub! When I saw this Wolverine art pop up, it instantly grabbed my eyes. Great rendition of Logan by KaJO....gives me a hybrid feel of Jim Lee and Philip Tan. Many thanks to Jiggy.Social/Sharing |

Bahaha...why you have to put me on blast like that Kavi :).
88 percent of the time i wait until art in hand before posting, the other 12 percent of the time as long as it's paid off on my end, I don't have the discipline to wait (and I got Jiggy's blessing).
Was excited to share with the CAF community and happy to come across KaJO's work...he is talented pho sho.

look I can't help it if I'm one of the few reliable trolls around here. :)
no need to explain it to me, excitement is what this hobby is all about. some of us have Master Splinter levels of patience and some of us don't, and there's nothing wrong with making an exception every once in awhile especially on great art at an affordable price like this. it's a nice score and was tempting when I looked at the drop early today, you must have already pulled the trigger by then. congrats!

Very nicely done. I especially dig the touches of dry brush technique.

Thanks Ruben. Wish there was a time lapse of this. Nothing beats traditional art using a variety of techniques to reach the final product

Yup, got that scratchy line work that flat out works, especially against the deep blacks. Awesome, man, congrats!

Thanks and agreed K. I can look at the intricate line work and white out effects for lighting all day

Not a bad guy, but Wolvie sure looks like he can do some bad things here!

Fantastic illustration of Wolverine by KaJO! The pose is awesome! Notice how his crossed arms echoes the "X" in X-Men! Love the dry-brush technique KaJO uses here--It actually reminds me of the art of Alex Raymond on Flash Gordon! Dry brush is the perfect way to create interesting textures in the shadows. I love the way the black background pushes Wolvie forward. Interesting too, that Wolvie's claws are left stark white and they grow WIDER at the end! Signs of a recent fight are evident in the torn holes on his mask where his hair sticks out. The gleaming white belt buckle with the black "X" is another nice touch. Stunning illustration and a great pick-up!
