DescriptionThrilled to add this Detective Comics cover as my first purchase in 2019. I have been a fan of Mark since his Uncanny Xforce run with the Age of Apocalypse. His style has beautifully evolved overtime, and I was waiting for the perfect cover to purchase of his.Being a huge fan of the bat rogue gallery, I was amazed when I saw the art to this cover. The composition, characters, fine details, Batman walking thru the Arkham Asylum gates with the shadows contrasting....I immediately pulled the trigger. Thank you Lisa and Mark for this gem. Art done on 23 x 15 on mounted watercolor board in blue marker and acrylic. Social/Sharing |

Wow! Incredible pick up. Could a used a few more feminine types - but otherwise a real beauty. Love the composition. Rendering and perspective used. If the rest of the year yields more pucknuos like this one - you are one lucky dude!

What a start to the new year! Batman has the best villians and this cover captures them perfectly. Mark did a wonderful job! Congrats John!

Wow, John, pretty outstanding I’d say! The blue hue throughout is so effective. An all around great image but I love that Frreze in the upper left and the Batman in the lower right. And of course the detail is there! Congrats, man!
