Description

Avengers Xmen Axis wasn't the greatest arc. I had high expectations with Remender writing the story, but it did have it's moments. The part where villians like Amora, Carnage, Loki, Absorbing man team up against Adamantium Sentinels was a cool twist. Here Amora takes on the red skull.

I was looking at this one for a sec myself, JN :) Awesome pencil rendering here and I think one of Yu's best female renditions in that middle panel. I've always loved Amora's look. And some nice shots of the Skull, too! Congrats!

GAAH! ANOTHER one I missed out on commenting on?!? Totally sorry, man - don't know what was up with me! Some beautiful, splashy storytelling by Leinil as Amora makes quite the entrancing entrance. So striking is her arrival that you could be forgiven for overlooking the terrifyingly awesome rendering of the big Axis baddie in panel 1, but please don't! More of those gorgeous, densely-packed scratchy pencils by a master of his craft. GREAT Leinil Yu / Enchantress page, JN! Congrats!
