I've been looking for a good published Darkseid example for the Rogue gallery and happy to add this piece. Published in the 1998 Legends of the DC universe 3D Gallery by Dave Johnson. Great use of 3D with the omega beams coming towards us.

Thanks man. Agreed , I'm glad we got the Snyder Darkseid cut. But wish they built him up like Thanos in mcu

nice Darkseid! Johnson's late 90s style feelss like a precursor to some more modern/current artists but he was doing it back then. love the design and inking.

Design work by Dave Johnson on overdrive! The Omega beams guide our eyes to Darkseid to break up the swarm like pattern of the Parademons! Kirby inspired too!

Rich contrast, I dig it, and the perpsective combined with the depth of the Omega Beams ups the grandeur that is Darkseid! Congrats!

Having Darkseid standing with an army of Parademons is one of my favorite comic images. A great piece and addition to the rogues gallery

Those are some serious eye laser bolts! Really cool page. I really like Dave Johnson's artistic style here. Plus "Darkseid and the Parademons" is an excellent name for a gothic rock band.
