Description

Here is a panel page from the unpublished Green Lantern Comics #39 (1949) by Carmine Infantino and Bernard Sachs which was done in 1949 but Green Lantern Comics was canceled with #38 so this never saw the light of day ...BUT THEN in 1972 (23 years after it was drawn), DC published it in Green Lantern #88 and thus this page become a published page.

What a treat it was to finally see this story come to light. It came at the tail end of the GL/GA Neal Adams run as a fill in, but you can't deny Infantino was just as important to comics as Adams.
