Description

Between 1996 and 2001 Paperinik - the Duck Avenger - lived great adventures in a monthly issue called PKNA - Paperinik New Adventures. Modern, new layout, amazing characters. In 2014 Panini Publishin made a reprint in bigger size, with new covers. Some of theme were made by Fabio Celoni, amazing artist in Disney and elsewhere.

This particular cover is for a story written by Francesco Artibani: it shows Paperinik with his shield, two villains - Kronin and the Time Raider - and the powerful Celoni approach. Fabio takes the characters and he shakes perspective and bodies, adding movement to the paper. In addition, his ink is dense and magnetic.

In the background there is also the place where the adventure is set: Time 0. Fabio drawn it on the other paper (21x29.5) to allow digital effects insertion. Even if, the cover perfectly works without.

Tra il 1996 e il 2001 Paperinik ha vissuto grandi avventure sul mensile Pkna. Si trattava di una pubblicazione moderna, condita di personaggi accattivanti e di un layout forte. Nel 2014 Panini Comics ha ristampato la serie con nuove copertine. Alcune ad opera di Fabio Celoni, grande artista in Disney e fuori.

Questa copertina particolare illustra una storia scritta da Francesco Artibani: mostra Paperinik con il suo scudo, i due cattivi - il Razziatore e Kronin - e il potente approccio di Celoni. Fabio prende i personaggi e scuote corpi e prospettiva, infondendo movimento alla carta. L'inchiostro, poi, risulta denso e magnetico, mai pesante.

Sullo sfondo si vede Time 0, il luogo in cui viviamo l'avventura di Paperinik. Celoni l'ha disegnata su di un foglio a parte (21x29.5), per permettere l'inserimento di effetti digitali. Nonostante questo, la copertina funziona benissimo anche senza.
