Description

"Henry" was a lucky duck in 1983 when he picked up a 2 x 3 foot drawing of Cerebus at the first Houston Comix Fair.

I got this, in 2005, and it was a great (big) Cerebus figure with no tone and a dark shadow and lots of white space. So I asked Gerhard if he could imagine a background context for this.

I am happy and proud to say that this was the first example of someone asking Ger to take an existing drawing and to enhance it with his brand of magic. It has definitely become a thing since then.
