Next: this wonderful portrait of Kelly at the drawing board, being urged on by his creation. Unused by Life but as Monty notes below, it appeared in the 1992 "Pogo's Golden Anniversary Exhibition" catalog published by the San Francisco Comic Art Museum.

Fantastic piece, I'm glad it found a great home! This was actually published in the 1992 "Pogo's Golden Anniversary Exhibition" catalog by the San Francisco Comic Art Museum...

I always love seeing an Artist self portrait especially with their own creation. It's the most honest view into how they saw themselves and their craft at the time. Cheers!
