Description

First appearance of Smax (he actually shows up earlier, but this is the first time you can see his face).

Smax takes the opportunity to show what a charmer he is. Also, note the subtle graphics suggesting he is an Alpha male.

Very strong 1st issue for Moore and Ha. They had to build the tone, the world, and the characters like a pilot episode. Smax is probably the character we identified with the most in these early issues as the seasoned veteran cop. Nice shaft.

A definitive moment in the series. Smax and Toybox's first interactions sets the tone for the entire series and the evolution of their partnership is the backbone of Moore's most underrated work.
