These wash pieces are amazing and I'm sure this one wasn't cheap. Well worth it in the end though and kudos.

Yeah, it's a super unusual page and I feel like it's a turning point for Mignola, especially when he annoucned he wanted to paint more.

Beautiful piece, probably my favortie panel from that issue. So dreamy and spot on for the story. Congrats!

Amazing find and purchase!
Super interesting to see the process as well because I had assumed those were done in colour and all on the same board. As I had those pages on my "jump on it if you see it" list, knowing that they're in multiple plates adds to my (slim) chances of one day getting a piece.

I hear ya -- this is def a grail piece for this fun collection. Maybe one of four ink wash pages from the entire series?
